About Kevin

As a third-generation member of the Presque Isle community, I love my city and am always looking for ways to help give back. This desire to serve my community led me to run for city council. After multiple terms in office, I now have a deep understanding of the issues we, as a city, face. Issues surrounding affordable housing, energy costs, and economic pressures on small business and agriculture in our area, are some of the many avenues for me to solve if elected to state government.

My time as city councilor taught me that there is a large gap in communication between state and local government leading to a deficit in help and attention being provided to our district by the state government. Our current representative has proven unable to close this gap, but I can. Thanks to my years in local government I am uniquely qualified to help bridge the divide between our state and local government so that we can get more done for our district. So please, put me to work for you, by voting for me to be your state representative this November.

On the Issues

Housing Development

While we have great job opportunities for people to work, we are far behind in having new housing stock for those folks to live here. I’ll be looking for any and all State resources that will improve or remove barriers to new housing development in our area. I’ll also look to continue to market the County’s great lifestyle as a means of attracting new people to the area both as visitors and also as residents

Lowering Utility Costs

I’ll work with others to find long-term solutions to our highly volatile and relatively expensive utility costs as compared to other regions in New England and around the country.

Attracting New Workforce Talent

Our community has so much to offer in terms of quality of living. Our problem is that we need to do a better job of highlighting our district's assets to the broader public so that we are job seekers' first pick when choosing where they want to live and work. I’ll continue to market the County’s great lifestyle as a means of attracting new people to the area both as visitors and also as residents
